This page explains how we handle information when you visit BlakelyDarling.com or sign up for our free coloring page email. It is written for parents and guardians. Please read it before you share an email address with us.
Who runs this site
BlakelyDarling.com is a parent-managed site for the Imowneya coloring book series by kid artist Blakely Darling. An adult parent or guardian operates the site and the free coloring page email list on Blakely's behalf.
This site is for parents, not for kids under 13
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
The free coloring page signup is only for parents and guardians age 18 or older. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you. If we learn that we have received an email address from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.
By submitting your email, you confirm that you are a parent or guardian age 18 or older, and that you are providing your own email (not a child's).
What we collect
Free coloring page / newsletter signup
When you join for a free printable coloring page, we ask for:
- Your email address only
We do not ask for a child's name, a child's email, phone number, home address, or other personal details on this form.
We use that email to:
- Send the free coloring page (or a link to download it)
- Send occasional updates about new free pages, new Imowneya books, and related news, if you stay subscribed
Purchases
We do not sell books on this site. Book purchases happen on Amazon (or other offsite retailers). When you click a "Buy on Amazon" link, you leave BlakelyDarling.com and Amazon's own privacy policy and terms apply to that purchase. We do not receive your payment card details through this site.
Free PDF downloads on the Free Coloring Pages page
Some coloring page PDFs on `/free-coloring-pages/` may be downloadable without an email signup. Those downloads do not require you to submit personal information on this site.
Technical and cookie data
Like most websites, our hosting or analytics tools (if enabled) may automatically receive limited technical information such as:
- Browser type
- Device type
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Pages visited and referring page
- Cookies or similar storage used for basic site function or (if we enable it) anonymous analytics
We do not use this technical data to identify a child. If we add or change analytics tools, we will update this policy.
How we use your email
We use parent/guardian email addresses only to:
1. Deliver the free coloring page you requested
2. Send related updates you opted into
3. Respond if you contact us
4. Keep the list accurate (bounces, unsubscribes, deletions)
We do not sell, rent, or trade email addresses to third parties for their marketing.
Who else may see data (service providers)
We may use trusted service providers to host the site, send email, or run analytics. Those providers process data only to help us run BlakelyDarling.com and only as needed for that job. They are not allowed to use your email for their own marketing.
Amazon handles its own checkout and account data when you buy there.
How long we keep your email
We keep your email while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from the active list within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days), except where we must keep a limited record for legal or security reasons (for example, proving we honored an unsubscribe).
How to unsubscribe or delete your information
- Unsubscribe: Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us and ask to be removed.
- Delete / correct: Email us and ask us to delete or correct your email address. We will confirm when it is done.

COPPA and parental consent
Under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), operators must get verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13.
This site is designed so that:
- Kids under 13 are not asked to submit personal information
- Only parents/guardians 18+ may submit an email for the free coloring page list
- Submitting the form is treated as parental consent to receive the free page and related emails at the parent's own address
If you believe a child under 13 submitted information here, contact us right away at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site links to Amazon and may link to other outside sites (for example, related family projects). Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For material changes that affect how we use emails already on the list, we will provide additional notice when appropriate (for example, a note in an email or a clear notice on the site).
